  • March 1st last year my son’s camp was attacked from within by Afghan “allies” on their very first night. Two of his friends were killed. The good news is he’s home now. Today he said, “Good news! No American troops were killed in March.”

    My son, a Marine, is currently at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. So far, he is okay. Needless to say, we are on pins and needles until he returns.

  • Every morning, the first thing we did was to check his unit’s FB page. Because if there was a soldier killed it would go down until it came back up with the story. It is very stressful for family members, too. May St. Michael defend him and God bring him back safe.
