ChurchMilitant.com — America Magazine Editor-at-Large Fr. James Martin has given his public blessing to Cardinal Vincent Nichols’ decision to celebrate Mass for “LGBT Catholics” who oppose Church teaching on homosexuality.
On his Facebook page — home to more than 200,000 followers — the dissident, progressive Jesuit priest gleefully posted an article from the UK Catholic Herald announcing the Cardinal’s “LGBT Mass” at Farm Street Church in Mayfair this Sunday, accompanied by the following remarks: “Good! Cardinal Vincent Nichols, archbishop of Westminster, to celebrate ‘welcoming Mass’ for LGBT Catholics at the Jesuit Church on Farm Street in London.”
Father Martin misses no opportunity to enthuse over LGBT victories in civil or ecclesiastical life. He was very happy to praise the morally compromised BSA when they made their gigantic capitulation to the homosexualists. He and I had a brief “Tweet off” on the matter, which led to him calling me hateful and blocking me on Twitter.
