Excuse me, sir, but did you read the entire article before
you made your comment? It seems
not. But if you did, then what is your
beef? It (the article) seems pretty
clear to me. The citations in the article
are also pretty clear: “He who hears you, hears Me.” That is most powerful, is it not?

Sure, Peter denied Our Lord, but He still chose him to head the
Church. Peter then became ST.
Peter. Did Christ make a mistake? Thomas doubted that Christ was “real” after
His Resurrection. Did Christ make a
mistake in choosing him to be one of the Apostles? No, because he then believed and became ST.
Thomas.

No one is saying that the Pope is infallible in his opinions
– as the article points out. He can say
that the moon is made of cheese – again, as the article points out. But he would be wrong; we don’t have to
believe him or then submit our free wills to his wrong opinion. But if he reinforces a teaching regarding
faith or morals, then we must submit.

Let me ask you: have you ever been in the military? If you have, then you realize that if a superior
gives a lawful order it must be obeyed.
The superior, by the way, does not have to be an officer; it could be a “lowly”
corporal, and you a private. But if the
order is given, you must adhere and obey!
It is called submitting to LAWFUL authority by those in command -- over
you, if even by only one or two stripes.

And isn’t this about submitting one’s will to a sinful
man? Difficult to imagine for some, but
it must be remembered that the Scriptures point out that Our Lord gave the
power to loose and bind and, as the Scriptures read, to forgive sins. Think about it: Christ gave the power to
forgive the sins of men TO men!

Would you deny Christ’s power and prerogative to do what He
laid out for man’s salvation? He established
His Church comprised of sinful men in order to administer His saving sacraments
to sinful men. And, unlike the
protestant sects, we (Catholics) have a head, Christ’s vicar that we must
submit to in matters of faith and morals, or else chaos. God bless you that you may see the light.

Dear Servant,

If you believe that the Scriptures are "true," i.e., without error, then you believe that the men who were the inspired authors were infallible when they were writing. This conclusion is logically unavoidable. Either all of the human writers of Holy Scripture were "without error" when writing, or the Bible is not guaranteed to be inerrant.

Infallibility continues in the true (Catholic) religion.

One can believe in the truth of the scriptures but the scriptures do not teach that the Pope is without error. Not even Peter the apostle of Christ was without error, for he himself denied Christ when he failed to abide in Him. The Pope is not infallible and in fact bears blasphemous titles and needs to repent of his sins before the living God in heaven, failing which he will be punished. The Roman Catholic Church needs to repent of the sins of having other gods before the true God Yahweh.

No mere mortal is without error, only fools would deny such a truth and the truth does not lie.
