Wow!  Where have you been Bishop Jenky?  Are there any more of “you”?

  • John

I would be reluctant to get behind anything led by Bishop Jenky.  Where was he when obama was at notre dame in 2009?  A fellow and a trustee I understand.  Go get your own head chopped off first then I will know you are genuine.

Hello John.. Bishop Jenky is a bishop in Illinois, Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades is the ninth bishop of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend in Indiana where Notre Dame is located.

  • John

… Bishop Jenky serves as a Fellow and Trustee of the University of Notre Dame..

He like Maryanne Glendon was in a position to do something significant.  She did.

  • GeneDe

Perhaps he did and we just don’t know.  He was/is not the ordinary; Bishop Rhoades was/is the ordinary.

  • John

If he did something significant we would know about it at leat by now.  It was a public act, his is a public office.  I suspect that he worshipped the Golden Dome/Golden Calf like so many others who are intimidated by the size znd hollow prestige of Notre Dame.

Bishop John D’Arcy was the ordinary at the time.  He did every bit as much as any laywoman could do.  He protested, begged and pleaded in the end he accomplished little more than making the office of bishop look contemptibly powerless.
