Dominican Rep: High Court Outlaws All Abortion, No Exceptions

Catholic Culture: The top court in the Dominican Republic has overturned legislation that allowed for legal abortion.

The Constitutional Tribunal ruled that a law passed in 2014, with the backing of President Danilo Medina, violated the country’s constitution, which provides for defense of life from the time of conception. The law would have allowed for abortion in cases of rape, incest, or fetal abnormalities “incompatible with life.” More on this here.
