Classrooms at IHM - Fall 2011 From Sister Maria Philomena
At Immaculate Heart of Mary School, we have been very busy since school began on August 30. The first day of school we didn't have power (Hurricane Irene), but everyone was smiling and the sun was shining!
Our daily school schedule is very busy: From 7:15 in the morning until three o'clock in the afternoon, every minute is filled. This is true not only for the students, but for the teachers as well.
Our enrollment is the largest ever, settling down to an even fifty. There is one senior, two juniors, four sophmores, three freshmen, five eighth graders, four seventh graders, three each in sixth, fourth, third and kindergarten, and eight fifth and first graders.
I took pictures of the classrooms to share with you, and I am only now able to post them. Just click on that highlighted text and then click on each picture to see the classrooms. You are all in our prayers every day. Enjoy the pictures!
Big E Musical Performance
At the Big E, IHM's Blueberry Jammers performed for hundreds of people. There was an average number of five people per second walking by the stage as we performed in the New Hampshire Building. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the fiddling. The Blueberry Man was a big hit (lots of photos were taken with him) during both performances and during the parade.
The Month of the Rosary From Sister Marie Therese, M.I.C.M.
"The Rosary gradually gives us a perfect knowledge of Jesus Christ." Take your Faith seriously! Pray your Rosary every day as Our Heavenly Mother asked. For this month of October, dedicated to the Rosary, help your children to get into the habit of praying the daily, family Rosary, with a tiny meditation on each Mystery."One day, through the Rosary and Scapular, I will save the world." (Our Lady to St. Dominic) That time is very close now! Everyone who helps to bring about the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and consequent world peace, will be rewarded and glorified for their part. BE PART OF THE SOLUTION!
