Good Thing We Put a Question Mark After Last Week’s News Post on the TAC

Oops! we didn’t.  Now it comes out that it’s Msgr. Marc Langham, an official at the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity that has a problem with receiving the TAC into the Catholic Church, and certainly not the pope.  Our first post of February 2 still holds.  Benedict XVI is, in fact, in favor of a personal prelature status for these converted Anglicans.  And, according to the report below, from England’s Catholic Herald , the Holy Father wishes to expedite their reception into the Church by means of this prelature.  Deo Gratias!

Catholic Culture reports: Pope Benedict XVI favors the creation of a personal prelature to accommodate the members of the Traditional Anglican Communion (TAC) who wish to enter the Catholic Church, according to an English Catholic newspaper.  More here with news links.
