UCANews: Bishop Giovanni Battista Wang Jin of Yuci (Yütze) in Shanxi province, who died at the age of 90, was buried yesterday with Church people lauding his commitment to nurture vocations in mainland China.
Bishop Wang died after a prolonged illness on September 23. He was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi, in a family of long Catholic tradition. From an early age he felt the vocation to priesthood and in 1935 he entered the minor seminary in Taiyuan. Read more here.
