Someone emailed me this morning with an article about the conversion of Joe Eszterhas. It appeared back in April on the LifeSiteNews website. I had read something before about this man’s conversion, but I did not know much more than that he returned to the sacraments. Not only has he been healed spiritually, but he has also been cured of throat cancer. This is an awesome story. Here’s a quote from Eszterhas in the LifeSiteNews report:
“Seven years ago, I sat down on a curb near my home, sobbing, and asked God to help me,” he writes in a September 2008 Washington Post article. “I cried and begged God to help me … and He did. I hadn’t prayed since I was a boy. I had made fun of God and those who loved God in my writings.
