The saintly Ukrainian Archbishop, Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, is the subject of much recent study in Ukraine. Scholars are uncovering evidence that challenges and refutes long-held stereotypes of the Metropolitan, stereotypes emanating from interested Polish, Soviet, and even Ukrainian parties. Natalia A. Feduschak, of the Kyiv Post, interviewed some of these scholars for her article, “New findings break long-held stereotypes about Sheptytsky.”
