Moslem Convert Corrects Cardinal: Violence Is the “Fruit” of the Koran

Journalist Magdi Allam knows the nature of the darkness from whence he came.  And there is “no fellowship between light and darkness.”  Hence his frustration when prominent hierarchs give respect to a religion that grew out of a book which advocates terrorizing Christian “infidels.”

CWN reports: Magdi Allam, the Muslim journalist who converted to Catholicism and was baptized by Pope Benedict during the Easter Vigil, has issued an open letter to the pontiff in which he criticizes recent comments about Islam made by Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, president of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. Cardinal Tauran said in August that Muslims who engage in violence have ‘betrayed their faith.’ More here with links to other headlines.
