A First After 1000 Years: Pope to Meet Russian Patriarch in Cuba, February 12

Topic of discussion, according to Patriarch Kirill, will be the plight of the Christians in the Middle East. We are only seventeen months away from the 100th anniversary (July 13, 1917) of Our Lady Fatima’s request for the consecration of Russia. Through this means, Mary said, Russia will be converted. The consecration will be late Our Lady also said later to Sister Lucia. Let us pray that it happens soon. Maybe this meeting is a sign, a prelude, of that momentous event. We know from Our Lady that the consecration will be made and that Russia will be converted to the Catholic Faith. What else could “conversion” mean for such a country plagued by schism since 1054?
