Pope to Offer Mass for Murdered Bishop Faraj

(AGI) – Vatican City, mar. 14 – On Monday the 17th of March Pope Benedict XVI will preside, in the Redemptoris Mater Chapel located in the Vatican, a mass for Mons. Paulos Faraj Rahho, Chaldean archbishop of Mosul, who was found dead in Iraq after that he had been kidnapped on February 29. The announcement was made by the Vatican Radio, which will transmit a live broadcast of the mass so that it may be heard by Christian communities in Iraq.
