Prisoners Venerate Relics of St. Therese Before Exposition at Westminster Cathedral

The name of the prison is rather strange, but it was a wonderful grace to bring the inmates the relics of so great and so well known a saint.

Prisoners at Wormwood Scrubs Prison in West London venerated the relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux for a few hours before the relics were conveyed to Westminster Cathedral, where 100,000 pilgrims are expected over the next three days. An estimated 172,900 pilgrims have venerated the saint’s in two dozen locations since they arrived in England and Wales on September 16.
