Saint Eulogius (608)

He was a Syrian and became a monk when he was a young man. He was one of the greatest glories of his century. The Holy Scriptures and the Traditions of the Church were the subject matter of all his studies. He became a priest and then a patriarch of Alexandria. He was a great supporter and friend of Saint Gregory the Great.
