Saint Vincent de Paul (1660)

He was a Frenchman who founded the great Order known as the Congregation of the Priests of the Missions, popularly known as the Vincentians. Along with Saint Louise de Marillac, he founded the Sisters of Charity, in the year 1634. He was one of the greatest apostles of his day. He is the patron saint of all organizations in the Catholic Church devoted to charity. Saint Vincent de Paul was eighty-four years old when he died.
