While I applaude and pray that our Holy Father can and will by the Grace of God accomplish this great task which our Lord prayed for, Ut unum sint. There seem to be issues that most Roman Catholics, let alone Traditional Roman Catholics need be wary about.

Hepworth was originally a Roman Catholic, and a priest. He left the Catholic Church in part over celebacy. A couple of years ago he did not simply consecrate new bishops (probably invalidly based on Apostolica Curae) but he used the Novus Ordo Rites, (valid rites) using female altar servers. There are several bishops and priests of the TAC who are on their second third and fourth marriages. While there is no liturgical unity among the Anglicans who use everything from the Book of Common Prayer to the Old Latin Missal or knockoffs of the Modern Missal, there are also differences in belief. Some Anglican clergy I know have been waiting to "Swim the Tiber" but also say they will keep quite about not holding to the Assumption or Immaculate Conception. Or as they call it the Presumption and the Immaculate Deception. I know others who have already converted, and see no problem assisting at Catholic and Episcopal services, and receive communion in both, based on their Anglican ideas that we are just two of the three "branches" of the Catholic Church.

In short, we need to pray that what comes in with the tide is carefully instructed and observed.
