Today Begins Christ the King Novena

The Novena to Our Lord Jesus Christ the King begins today. In the traditional rite, the Feast of Christ is the last Sunday in October, which is the last Sunday before the Feast of All Saints, and also — for our separated brethren — “Reformation Sunday.” (We pray, in the official prayers of the Church, that they will accept His Kingship and no longer remain separated from us.)

We do not have all the prayers that we use in our devotion to Christ the King online yet. There is a good novena prayer on the Fisheaters site that will do nicely. You may wish to add to this the Litany of the Sacred Heart, which is featured in our version of the novena.
