CatholicOnline: To the accolades of the leaders of a Cultural Revolution and the shock and despair of most parents, Governor Jerry Brown signed California Assembly Bill 1266 into law. It mandates that restrooms in public schools, from kindergarten through the twelfth grade, no longer be limited to boys or girls, young men or young women. Students who self identify as transgendered will now be able to choose which restroom they use.
It also requires athletic teams in public schools to allow the student, based upon their self proclaimed gender identity, to choose the team they play on. In other words, a girl who says she is a boy must be allowed to join the football team. A boy who says he is a girl must now be able to choose to be on a girls’ sports team. School systems which fail to comply will face the consequences. More here.
