This is when I met Father Casey. I remember how kind he was and that he blessed me. He talked to me but I cannot remeber what was spoken. I do remeber his kindeness and sincere interest in me. Now at seventy years of age I am praying to him for health reasons. Daily I pray for his beatification. GOD's will be done for both his beatification and a cure for my illness. My mother passed on to me a second class relic of Father Casey which I have kept close to me for many years. I remember her speaking about him and seeing a prayer card of him around her Detroit home. Maybe he prayed for her, as she still says her daily Rosary and is still a devout Catholic when as far as I know, most, if not the rest, of the family has fallen away.
