Ed Rogers Skeptical on Obama’s SS Marriage ‘Evolution’

The President says that his thinking about same-sex “marriage” has evolved. Writing for the WaPo, Ed Rogers suspects a cynical political motive:

Reality check: Obama manipulated gay voters, kept them at a distance and hoped they would settle for the occasional wink and a nod. But he has found himself in a campaign with dwindling enthusiasm and a narrowing electoral map; he needs this group’s enthusiastic support and high turnout in November.

Meanwhile, the media and world leaders continue to praise the president’s “bold” and “courageous” endorsement of institutionalized “acts of grave depravity” that are “intrinsically disordered,” “contrary to the natural law,” and which “do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity.” This doctrinaire assessment comes, I should mention, from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which finishes its paragraph on the grave immorality of homosexual acts (2357) with this blunt declaration: “Under no circumstances can they be approved. ”

Yes, the President appears to have a little “Catholic problem.”
