I AM What I Say I Am Even If I’m Not

No, it’s not a new Dr. Seuss book. The Doc could not possibly have gotten this bizarre, even if he had OD’d on psychedelic green eggs and ham.

To the news story below, I must append two “prequels.” First, in some places, laws are in effect or are being contemplated that allow men who think they’re women and women who think they’re men to use restrooms assigned to the gender they think themselves to have. This means that a man can use a ladies’ room simply because he says he thinks he’s a lady.

That’s bad enough.

Arguably worse is prequel two: There is an effort underway to allow the “transgendered” to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces in the uniform of their “new” gender — i.e., the one they think they have.

Now, there’s Donna the Tranny. She’s a nice gal, but Doug — whom she used to be (sort of) — is suspected of murder. Donna and Doug share fingerprints, even if they don’t share a sense of identity or gender. So, Donna’s defense is that, while Doug may or may not have committed the crimes, she certainly didn’t, coincidental fingerprints or no.

We are relieved to learn that, according to New York City psychiatrist Dr. Jack Dreschernot, this type of thing is “not typical of the transgender experience.”

All aberrant behavior has unintended consequences. “Typical” or no, in the wacko world of letting people define what they are even when they’re not, we should expect these things to happen.

After all, it’s perfectly… normal(?).

(Briebart) Authorities in Washington State believe that a series of murders of prostitutes in 1990 were committed by Washington resident Douglas Perry. Now Perry has been captured and charged with the murders, but Douglas has become “Donna,” a transgender woman who claims that she is not responsible for the murders because Douglas no longer exists.
