Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament

This feast was first promoted by Saint Peter Julian Eymard, in 1868, the year he died. The purpose of this feast is to let us know that without Mary there would be no Blessed Sacrament, because it was she who gave Jesus the body and the blood which are sacrificed at every Catholic Mass, and then given to the faithful as their Divine Food.
