The twisted logic of those advocating “choice” on the abortion question unravels pretty quickly. Here, a representative of Planned Parenthood, the wealthy abortion giant, advocates for a woman’s “right” to have a baby that survived a botched abortion killed on the spot — after consultation with her health care provider, of course.
The same empty rhetoric we’ve heard for years sounds just a bit more Orwellian when applied to a baby crying on a hospital table, visible, audible, touchable. That probably accounts for the Florida representative saying that he was “almost in disbelief” at hearing it. Suddenly the “blob of tissue” nonsense appears as vacuous as it is.
Still, hard hearts will not be convinced.
