‘Russian Myths vs. Russian Reality’ with Edward Slavsquat

James Corbett interviews Riley Waggaman, a.k.a., “Edward Slavsquat,” an American journalist living in Moscow. Waggaman is a former RT writer/editor who has recently gone independent and writes on Substack.

His take? “Russia is neither singularly evil nor singularly good and that Putin is not a freedom fighter valiantly battling the globalists.”

His comments provide some balance to the “binary” thinking out there, i.e., of those shopping for white hats and black hats for “Team NATO” and “Team Putin.” Waggaman’s point of view seems to dovetail with Corbett’s more sweeping observations in The Ukraine Crisis: What You Need to Know, where open criticism of neither NATO nor Putin is off the table.

Take it all cum granu salis if you will, but I found it informative.

From our perspective as Catholics, the truth remains that the messages of Fatima have yet to be heeded.
