We are often tempted to ask “What do ‘conservatives’ conserve?” In the case of Scott Brown, it would be the evil of homosexuality and the aggressive queering of the U.S. armed forces, not the lives of the unborn slaughtered by abortion on the altar of feminism and sexual libertinism. Those who agitated for the lesser of two evils in electing this man should feel embarrassed. That non-Catholic doctrine of political expediency will always produce politicos like Scott Brown and “conservatives” willing to support him.
