A US Bishop Has the Guts to Challenge Pro-Abortion Mandela’s Legacy

Kudos for Bishop Thomas Tobin. While the world fawns over the pro-abortion, pro same-sex marriage Nelson Mandela, Bishop Thomas Tobin says enough of this. Prescinding from the despicable Dutch Protestant policy of apartheid in South Africa, the African National Congress was a commie front from the get-go. The ANC did not really care about the welfare of poor, black South Africans (the Zulus, for example) who refused to give in to the Communist Party of which Mandela was a member, but only for the radical revolutionaries who had a lot of Negro blood on their terrorist hands. Communist Russia financed the ANC. Why? Did the racist Soviet Communists care about civil rights for blacks in South Africa? Hello! Tell that to a Pole, a Hungarian, a Ukrainian, a Czechoslovakian, a Bulgarian, a Latvian or an Estonian. No, the Reds wanted a government they could control so that they could exploit the lucrative mineral resources of the land. Read the facts on Mandela here in the American Spectactor, one among many sources that are not afraid to deal with the facts.

A Catholic bishop in the United States is taking exception to the unrestricted praise the world is heaping on deceased South African president and civil rights leader Nelson Mandela, calling his signing a bill to legalize unlimited abortions “shameful.”

The bishop of Providence, Rhode Island, Bishop Thomas Tobin, criticized “Mandela’s “shameful promotion of abortion in South Africa.” Full report here.
