The Power of Prayer

This is a personal account of a woman who was actively engaged in the pro-abortion, feminist cause. She is now a devout Catholic actively involved in fighting abortion through the power of prayer and education. When she writes “I have repented on my sins and found healing and forgiveness in the Catholic Church” you know she has been touched by a great grace.  Sometimes, even among convertrs (and are we all not converts?), you hear it said, “I made mistakes,” or “I was misinformed,” or “nobody ever told me that,” but that’s why confession is so healing, because in this great sacrament the penitent must accuse him or herself of sin.  “Bless me Father, for I have sinned.” God loves the humble. How consoling it is to read the story of the Prodigal Son: “Father forgive me for I have sinned . . .” Read her story here on CatholicOnLine.
