Dear Friends,
Pax Christi. You may have heard that our Sisters were forced to leave their convent a few months ago. They are not exactly homeless — but they are conventless, which is a sad place to be for a Community of Sisters!
I am reaching out to you not to ask you for a donation (though, of course, you are welcome to give one!). I actually want to ask if you could help our Sisters in another way.
Can you think of maybe ten other people you know — family members, co-workers, fellow parishioners, etc. — whom you could tell about their situation? These contacts of yours would not even have to be Catholic. Several of our non-Catholic friends have said, “Sure, I’d be happy to,” when asked about giving a one-time, tax-deductible donation to help the Sisters. Your friends just might do the same. (This can be an occasion of grace for a non-Catholic.)
Would you be willing to at least ask them?
Embedded below is a flyer that you can share or post. It has the Sisters’ contact information and a link to their new website, saintphilomenaconvent.org. Donations can be made there, of course, with no hassle at all!
Again, thank you so much.
May God and Our Lady and St. Joseph bless you!
