One of the many good things that can be said of this prominent Churchman is this: His public persona matches the way he comports himself in private. He doesn’t sound false notes. I’ve had the pleasure of two private conversations with His Grace and can say that the candor and disarming humility of the man one sees on camera correspond perfectly with his one-on-one demeanor as I experienced it.
