The Telegraph can’t resist trying to make Pope Pius XII look bad even when reporting about documents that militate against his complicity with the Third Reich. Saying, as they do in the tag line, that he has been “accused by historians of being too compliant towards Hitler” is misleading. Have all historians accused him, or only those with a certain agenda?
