The following is an excellent conference on the subject of “Modesty in Speech” by Father Chad Ripperger. He is following the doctrine of Saint Thomas Aquinas on the virtues, showing how modesty extends not only to the area of dress, but also into other kinds of external behavior, including the words we use and how we say them. Very important for people who would live a devout life and also those who, besides, wish to be effective in any apostolate for the conversion of their neighbors.
