Jeremias was one of the four major prophets of the Old Testament. His Prophecy and his Lamentations constitute a book in the Old Testament. There are forty-five books in the Old Testament and twenty-seven books in the New Testament. There are seventy-two books in the whole Bible. One of the most quoted texts from the prophet Jeremias is from his Lamentations, Chapter 3, verse 27, where he says that, “It is good for a man to have borne the yoke from his youth,” thereby letting us know that when one is to become a saint, or even to save one’s soul, it is good to start as a child.
