We are experiencing some problems with the Disqus comment system. All comments are being recorded and posted. The problem is with their syncing to our web site in such a way that they are properly displayed on our front page.
It may take some time to fix this problem as we are unable to attend to it right away due to the other duties that occupy us.
UPDATE (Monday night, Nov. 3): It turns out this is a “known issue” affecting the latest version of the Disqus plugin (v. 2.80). The brainy folks at Disqus are working on a solution. So, for now, it’s acting strangely, but this situation should not last.
UPDATE (Late Monday night, Nov. 3): Thanks to the code experts at GitHub, the problem is now fixed!
