Mr. Lonnie Brennan, Publisher of the Boston Broadside, contacted the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts seeking a comment about the decision of Marquette University in Wisconsin to offer, for a fee, “Gender Affirming Voice Therapy” for minors.
This means that adolescents who suffer from the delusion that they are “transitioning” to another gender will be coached on how to either feminize or masculinize their voice and mannerisms.
The institution facilitating and profiting from this gender dysphoria, Marquette, is a Catholic university administered by the Society of Jesus.
Catholic Action League Executive Director C. J. Doyle made the following comment: “Marquette’s speech therapy program affirms a lie, profits from a disorder, and abandons victims to an illness.”
“It represents a direct repudiation of natural law, Christian anthropology and the Sovereignty of God—‘male and female he created them’.”
“Marquette is uniquely corrupt, even by Jesuit standards. Its Board of Trustees includes Jesuit Father Michael A. Zampelli, an openly homosexual priest and Dignity activist who was a Director and Treasurer of the Catholic Association for Lesbian and Gay Ministries.”
“Virtually all Catholic colleges, universities and elite secondary schools in this country are controlled by culturally conforming, bourgeois liberals, who support abortion, contraception and sodomy, along with open borders, ‘diversity’ and the Democrat Party.”
“The corruption is pervasive, longstanding, and institutional.”
“A reasonable estimate of the number of Catholic institutions of higher education in the United States which are actually Catholic, would probably, be in the range of three to five percent.”
“Catholics have been dispossessed. The vast infrastructure of once Catholic colleges and universities in America, built up with much labor, cost and sacrifice for over two hundred years, is no longer in the hands of believing and orthodox Catholics.”
“Moreover, no one has a plan, a determination or even a clue on how to reclaim them.”
