About Joe Doyle

Since 1995, C. Joseph Doyle has been the Executive Director of the Catholic Action League of Massachusetts. Over the last three decades, he has appeared in the news media more than two thousand, five hundred times to defend the Catholic Faith, oppose anti-Catholic bigotry, and uphold the constitutional rights of Catholics.

Doyle's media credits include the BBC World News, The Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Chicago Tribune, The Daily Caller, The Federalist, Fox and Friends, Ireland's RTE, the Los Angeles Times, NBC Nightly News, The New York Times, Newsmax TV, Time Magazine, U. S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The Washington Times.

His articles and op-eds have appeared in such publications as the Boston Broadside, The Boston Globe, Canada's Catholic Insight, Catholic World Report, From the Housetops, Mancipia, The Wanderer, The Anchor and The Pilot, and on such news websites as Catholicism.org, Church Militant, CNS News and the New Boston Post.

A graduate of Boston College, Doyle worked for four years as a Legislative Assistant in the Ways and Means Committee of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where he specialized in public transportation issues. He was an aide to the Chairman of the Democratic Party in Boston, State Representative James J. Craven, Jr.

Doyle went on to serve as the vice-president of a conservative think tank, the Foundation for Economic Research, where he wrote reports on the state budget, the state debt, and public policy in the Commonwealth.

From 1988 to 1995, Doyle served as Massachusetts Chapter Director, and later, National Director of Operations for the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights.

A former member of Boston's Democratic City Committee, Doyle is the veteran of more than a dozen federal, state, county, and local election campaigns.

Since 2019, Doyle, in addition to his work with the Catholic Action League, has served as Director of Communications for the Friends of Saint Benedict Center.
