The Irish people have already rejected this surrender of their sovereignty to the dictatorship of the anti-Christian, secularist European Union, whose constitution gives no reference to the Faith that made Europe a Christian civilization of independent nations. The EU would undermine and overrule any member-nation’s laws to protect marriage, the family, and the pre-born children. Yet Bishop Treanor of the Down and Connor diocese is lobbying for Ireland’s entry into this masonic, power-hungry, new-world oligarchy, claiming (with supine ignorance) that there is no threat to Ireland’s self-rule in joining the Union. Ireland’s venerable Constitution begins with the following proclamation, even if, as a nation, it is falling far short of the pledge. But, compared to other once-Catholic nations, Ireland has the capacity even now (as does Poland) to rally, as it has shown, at least in this instance, by the popular vote.
