SBC Conference and CAT News

A new tab at the top of our main page is meant to keep Catholicism.org readers up to date on SBC Conference news and upcoming Catholic America Tour engagements. But for those who have missed this new feature, let me present our two announcements here:

First the 2009 SBC Conference: This year’s conference — a two day event — will be Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. This is Columbus Day weekend. We’ve moved our annual gathering to the Fall, when New England puts on its best colors. Another change is in location: The Conference will be hosted entirely at Saint Benedict Center, in Richmond New Hampshire. Further details on speakers, cost, etc., are forthcoming. Mark your calendars now!

Second, the California CAT: On May 13, 2009, there will be two CAT presentations in a private home in Sacramento, CA. The first will be at 11:00 AM, and the second at 6:00 PM. The talks will be at 1216 24th Street in Sacramento. Please contact Elizabeth Pierini for further information: 916-813-8269. These are the first two CAT talks we have scheduled for our California trip. To find out how you can organize a talk, please e-mail Mr. Russell LaPlume or call him at the Center: 603-239-6485.
