The St. Michael the Archangel sculpture, currently under construction in São Miguel Arcanjo, Brazil, will be the world’s largest Christian statue at 187 feet.
This monument is part of “The Archangel’s Grotto” religious complex and aims to strengthen devotion to St. Michael, reflecting the area’s Brazilian and Italian religious heritage, as it brings the symbolic presence of Monte Gargano to Brazil.
The complex will feature various facilities like confessionals and a museum of sacred art, contributing to the spiritual and cultural enrichment of the area.
