Two Brothers Profess Vows on October 11, 2005

“Most beloved brothers, you have left the world behind and have taken refuge in God.” — from the profession ceremony

On Tuesday, October 11, 2005, our community had the great joy of witnessing the religious profession of two brothers:

  • Brother Louis Marie, M.I.C.M., known formerly in the world as Joseph Sean Patrick McCann; and
  • Brother Maximilian Maria, M.I.C.M., known formerly in the world as Patrick Edwin Dominic Sullivan

These religious professed their temporary vows as Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in a High Mass for the Feast of the Divine Maternity. Their vows are for the period of three years, after which, God willing, these brothers will profess perpetual vows, binding them for life. Soon, pictures of the ceremony and other details of the profession will be online.

Please join us in giving thanks to Our Lord for such a grace.
