I knew nothing about the man. I only remember him in a 1960s television series, Secret Agent. Those who are familiar with another short-termed serial called The Prisoner, which McGoohan wrote the script for, would have appreciated his talents far more. After reading several obituaries, I have to say that I’ve discovered an exceptional character, who had once studied to become a priest, and who continued his whole life to remain true to his Catholic Faith and ideals.
