CNA: Although they are afraid [Christians in Hassake, Syria], they aren’t paralyzed, the archbishop said, adding that there is still work they can do.
“If we need to praise we must praise Christ,” he said, and, quoting a Syriac saint, added: “if you sing, sing praise. This is what you have been created for.”
The archbishop then made an appeal for spiritual support, because right now “we don’t need pity. We need prayer, we need help.” Read more here.
