Archdiocesan Radio Station to Reduce Protestant Programs

So much for ecumenism.  I mean, what is a Catholic sponsored radio station for anyway? You can catch a Mass at 10:00 and then, at 11:00, you can tune in on Reverend Wheeler’s  revival  rally, and maybe catch a charismatic healing service at noon.  That’s the spirit of the new mission, something for everybody.

CNA reports: Hartford, Apr 29, 2008 / 04:06 am (CNA).- Citing the need to make an “identity change” and an overly competitive spirit among some of its non-Catholic radio shows, a Catholic-sponsored radio channel in Connecticut is reshuffling its schedule and cutting many of its Protestant slots, the Hartford Courant reports.
