Five years after the fateful day of her arrest on 19 June 2009, the life of the Christian woman who was sentenced to death for blasphemy in Pakistan, is in the hands of a Muslim professional, the only lawyer officially representing her in the final stage of her trial before the Supreme Court. 60-year-old Saiful Malook from Lahore, is an accomplished lawyer who believes in law and justice and he is keen to make it clear that “he does not discriminate in the choice of his clients”.
