About Russell LaPlume

Russell LaPlume, or "Mr. Russ," as he is affectionately known at Saint Benedict Center, hails from Lawrence, Massachusetts. From a young age, he worked in the family printing business run by his Father and Mother in Lawrence. He served his country in the Vietnam War as a Marine. A true eclectic, he can build rock walls, farm, work construction, and navigate New Hampshire's hidden streams in his trusty kayak. He reads incessantly, loves Saint Joseph, and is father to eleven children. His sense of humor can be mystifying to some people. With his wonderful wife, Judith, he lives near the Center in Richmond, in a two-hundred-year-old house he restored.

Mr. LaPlume is also Saint Benedict Center's bookkeeper and bookstore manager.
