Boston Globe May Be Going Under

Good riddance.  I didn’t realize just how many big name newspapers are feeling the financial crunch and shutting off the presses. Advertising costs aren’t worth a shrinking number of page turners. But this trend has been going on long before the recession set in.  Apparently, with the information highway provided by the internet, there has been a huge decline in newspaper sales.  Although I am delighted to see this anti-Catholic daily disappear, it’s just a media shift from sheet to screen.  Wounded and humiliated the Church shall endure and, after the purge, rise more glorious; liberal newspapers may have seen their last day.
