The following is a Catholic Action League of Massachusetts member alert…
On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the second annual Men’s March To Abolish Abortion And Rally For Personhood will be held in Boston.
The Catholic Action League of Massachusetts today is encouraging all League members, all faithful Catholics and all persons of goodwill to support this vitally important endeavor.
We also urge all pro-life Catholic men, who are physically able, to participate in the march, and urge all supporters of the right to life to attend the rally on Beacon Street in front of the State House.
The struggle to protect innocent human life from that form of mass murder known as legal abortion is waged in politics, popular culture, legislation and the courts.
It is foremost however, a spiritual combat, and the weapon which the Men’s March will bring to the steps of the Massachusetts State House—the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary—is our greatest strategic asset.
The overturning of that artifice of constitutional fiction known as Roe v. Wade has, it would seem, provoked the wrath of the Father of Lies, and that wrath is reflected in the rage of his followers here in the Bay State.
A new Reproductive Justice Unit of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office has just been established, and it will target pro-life pregnancy care centers.
The City Council of the Commonwealth’s second largest city, Worcester, is still pursuing—despite opposition from its own city solicitor and city manager—a proposed ordinance which would force crisis pregnancy centers to “directly provide or provide referrals for abortions or emergency contraception.”
Meanwhile, those who vandalized that city’s pro-life centers remain at large and unpunished.
Under Governor Maura Healey and Chancellor Marty Meehan—two nominal Catholics—the University of Massachusetts system has become a veritable Fort Knox of abortion pill reserves, a government depository of 15,000 dosages of lethal Mifepristone.
Despite the victory before the U.S. Supreme Court, the conflict is far from over, and has now moved to new battlefields.
The pro-life community must rise to meet the challenges confronting it in post-Roe America.
Please join us on November 4th.

Pro-Life Attorney Robert W. Joyce of Boston, the former President of the Pro-Life Legal Defense Fund, has authored an inspired and insightful essay on the significance of this upcoming event, for us not only as Christians, but as citizens of the United States of America.
As Bob Joyce rightly points out, we not only have a moral and religious obligation to oppose abortion, but a civic and patriotic duty as well.
Please take a few moments to read his splendid and perceptive analysis.
Thank you.
