There are two current news items that showcase what happens when false ecumenism obscures the necessity of entering the Church and living the Catholic Faith in order to be saved. One involves Jewish leaders the other Buddhist. CWN reports here and here. There is a mandate that the Son of God has given His Church to “teach all nations. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be condemned” (Mark 16:16). How can they believe if the Faith is not preached? “Woe is me,” cried Saint Paul, “if I preach not the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:16).
