Catholic Culture: Orlando Espin, who teaches systematic theology at the University of San Diego, a Catholic institution, received the John Courtney Murray Award. In presenting the award, the CTSA cited him for his work on “colonization, slavery, racism, and prejudice against LGBT persons.” In his acceptance speech, Espin thanked and introduced his “husband.” More here.
