I have misgivings about the displacement of Msgr. Hon from the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples to a diplomatic position for which he has no experience. He was a voice in Rome for the underground Church in China and was not at all optimistic about Vatican/Beijing ongoing dialogue.
